The BF002 filament buffer is the print it yourself option. We will send a link to download the STL files to print either the RMU Mk-3 Mod-U, Mod-S or Mod-T variations. The Mod-U fits the Mk2.5s, Mk3, Mk3.5, Mk3.9 and Mk4

We will post the components out to assemble the Filament Buffer and these will include PTFE tubes, bearings and pass through adaptors.

The Mod-U replaces the Mod-S and Mod-T versions but the files are contained in the download so you can still print the original versions too.

You will receive links to assembly instructions, tips and tricks and any other resources we think you might find useful.

You will receive all the component parts of the RMU-Mk3 plus a bill of materials, links to assembly instructions, tips and tricks and any other resources we think you might find useful.

Only weeks into building the MMU it was clear I had to get a better setup than the default buffer, which eventually led me here. From the moment the first prints came off the sheet it is clear that you are getting what you pay for (I was hesitating). Industry level engineering, you can tell a lot of work has gone into designing this. When the pieces arrived it was a pleasure to mount and see how much desk space I regained, and it really looks like an integral part of the Prusa. Waited a few weeks to post this to make sure it really delivered, and yes, I warmly recommend it. The MMU is running smoother than before and I find it absolutely worth it.
