Introducing the Mod-U, the latest RMU.
We have just released the new Mod-U variation of the RMU filament Buffer along with a lot of smaller changes which we will detail in the next few posts.
What is the Mod-U?
The Mod-U filament Buffer combines the features of the Mod-T and Mod-S filament buffers. Previously, the placement of filament spools was limited, the Mod-T required filament to be stored above the printer and the Mod-S was for when filament was to the side or below the printer. The Mod-U allows the filament to be stored both above and below the printer. Each of the 5 channels can be used for one of the other.
For example, channel one filament can be stored above the printer while channel two can be at the side or below the printer.
This modification simplifies the choices and expands the flexibility of the filament buffer.
The BF002 and BF001 variations will be despatched with 15 PC4M10 adaptors instead of the previous 10 supplied with the Mod-S and Mod-T.
